Curriculum Enrichment- is defined as the process of selectively modifying a curriculum by adding educational content or new learning opportunities.

 

At Harmony School of Business our PTO is committed to bringing new programs that will enrich the lives of our students. As a parent group we have enormous Goals that we would like to accomplish within the curriculum of Harmony. We have already searched out several programs that we feel would fit Harmony School of Business.

 

Knowing how important it is to be well rounded and diverse in your interest, we would like to bring back the Arts to Harmony. We would like a comprehensive music program with a band and a choir. An art Program that competes a Journalism program both news paper and broadcasting. PTO would also expand the business program by bringing in speakers and programs such as Business Fest and CEO Space.

Business Fest- is a Program we are running where the students create a product get a loan to start their business. Students will invite the community through marketing to come purchase their product they will pay their loans back with 10% interest rate to PTO. It will also be a small business conference on campus. With Break out speakers and business booths.

CEO SPACE-  Young Entrepreneur Program (YEP!) is a program specifically designed for teens and young adults (ages 15 – 19) that builds the foundation for the next generation of business leaders.

YEP! is a week-long intensive program that focuses on providing teens with a foundation in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership, networking and team building. YEP! utilizes Super Teaching technology which is a proven mechanism to advance learning retention. Super Teaching is Title 1 qualified technology that automates the information delivery system designed to help enhance learner retention in any class room mission.

 

 

 

We  would like our children have many opportunities to enrich the hard work they do in the classroom.  Through funding provided by PTO from sponsorships and fundraising we can Positively change Harmony and offer a variety of programs that will bring more families to HSB Dallas.
